Plate 2 of a series of designs of silversmithing and goldsmithing. Drawings of boxes made for the Ambassadors of Siam. This plate shows a curved shape filled with an apparently, but not quite, symetrical arrangement of foliate scrolls and flowers. At the top, in the center, is a bird, wings spread, facing right with its head turned towards the left.
