Design showing two-thirds of a ceiling, with a recessed rectangular section at center, framed with an ornamental border with grotesques on three sides. The border on the left side is not shown in the plate. The two visible corners have rounded niches with busts set before shells. From a series of six prints with designs for ceiling decorations. The prints do not show the whole ceiling, but rather a quarter or two-thirds of the design. Since most of them are symmetric, this suffices to understand the overall look of the ceilings.
