Bartolozzi etched this image of St. Prospero and the Virgin looking at a city model soon after he moved to England in 1764. Part of a group based on Guercino drawings owned by George III, this impression was reissued by John and Josiah Boydell, who acquired the plate from Richard Dalton in 1791-92.
