Plate 6, View of the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina in the Roman Forum (or Campo Vaccino). Groups of figures are scattered among the architectural fragments and within the ruins. The Arch of Septimius Severus (left) and the Temple of Saturn (Church of St. Adrian) are included in the background at left and identified in the inscription. Below this plate is a smaller image, titled "Fragmens Antiques," which shows a fragment of a frieze with a centaur. These two images appear facing page 11, which starts the portion of text describing the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina.
