Restes du Portique du Temple de Jupiter Stator, from Les Plus Beaux Monuments de Rome Ancienne ou Recueil des plus beaux Morceaux de l'Antiquité Romaine qui existent encore

Plate 7, View of the Temple of Castor and Pollux (identified in the inscription as Temple of Jupiter Stator) in the Roman Forum, with the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina (left), the Temple of Romulus (center), and the Temple of Peace (right) in the background. Many prints of this time misidentify the ruins of the Temple of Castor and Pollux as the Temple Jupiter Stator, although the title of the descriptive text on the facing page (page 12) suggests a degree of uncertainty: "Temple Qu'on croit être de Jupiter Stator." This is one of twenty-nine full-page plates in the volume.
