Plate 10, View of the ruins of the Temple of Vespasian and Titus (identified in inscription as Temple of Jupiter Tonans). Groups of figures and animals, as well as a few architectural fragments, appear in the foreground, with the Tabularium in the background. This image, one of twenty-nine full-page plates in the volume, faces page 14 which includes a description of the temple. The Temple of Vespasian and Titus was commonly identified as the Temple of Jupiter Tonans (Jupiter the Thunderer) from the Renaissance through the nineteenth century, as is the case in this volume.
