Not on view
Plate 24, View of the remains of a sepulchral chamber located near the Porta San Sebastiano on the Appian Way. The plate appears across from page 22, which describes the Mausoleum of Helena located on the ancient Via Labicana and is the subject of plate 25; yet it appears that the remains shown in plate 24 are unrelated to the Mausoleum of Helena or the Ad Duas Lauros complex to which it belongs. Below this plate is an unnumbered image titled "Fragments d'après l'antique," with a fragment of a relief showing a fallen soldier being raised by his right hand.
